The Michael W. Stutelberg Award
The Michael W. Stutelberg Award is given in memory of a remarkable young man whose life impacted individuals with disabilities throughout the Midland community. It recognizes individuals and organizations whose actions have significantly benefited Reece Endeavor and its mission of providing affordable housing for individuals with disabilities.
Basic criteria for the award include:
- Can be given to an individual or an organization
- Can recognize personal and/or professional commitments
- Individual or organization must make a significant, positive impact on individuals served by Reece Endeavor
It probably comes down to two things — perseverance and a great attitude. I believe that those are the primary traits that Reece Endeavor wishes to recognize with this award — not giving up, staying the course and doing it with a smile on your face.

Suggestions for potential candidates are always welcome and can be submitted to our Public Relations Committee. After review by the committee, the award recipient must be approved by the Reece Endeavor’s Board of Directors.
Award winners are recognized at the Reece Endeavor’s annual meeting in January. They receive a memento and their names are added to the Michael W. Stutelberg Award plaque in the Reece Endeavor office.
